I just couldn't resist sewing up some of these Plum Easy Folded Star Hot Pads using some cute fruit and veg fabrics. These are so fun and easy to make, and they look great.
SusyBee, a line that is exclusive to International Textiles, has this great panel in a new line called Lewe's Balloons. They are calling this a playmat panel but I took 3 panels and chenilled them for a baby's room floor mat. Isn't it cute?
Jefferson Notions is now selling the patterns from Plum Easy for the Folded Star pot holders, etc. I just finished this 8" round pot holder using Scarlet Evening from Marcus Fabrics. This was a very easy, fun and quick project. What a great way to use up scraps and leftovers.
These would make great Christmas or hostess gifts.
I made this cute beach bag from a fun seaside themed print from Blank and pet screen for the bottom of the bag. I think it turned out pretty cute.
I used several pieces of boys prints from Blank Quilting, some solids and some scraps from Try to make up this disappearing nine-patch for one of Liams friends. Ken from Atlantic Fabrics quilted this great design in a variegated thread. I think its fabulous. What a great way to use up scraps.
